It is possible using one WhatsApp Account on two Phones

Welcome to my blog, many people have asked me this question In time past, whether it is possible to run one WhatsApp account  on two phones. 

The multi device mode feature in WhatsApp allows users to use a WhatsApp across all devices. The only challenge it has is that, it only allow users connect one device to your account. The tech company behind WhatsApp updated the app thereby enabling users use one WhatsApp account on multiple phones.

Earlier, WhatsApp users can testify, WhatsApp only allow users to link their phones to the desktop or web version of WhatsApp. The companion mode feature allows you link up to 4 additional devices to your WhatsApp Account.

Nowadays, it’s possible to run WhatsApp account on other other phones smoothly. There is no pout to exchange device without signing out and selecting up your conversations were it was as was left.

 In that case you can now use your secondary android smartphone to continue texting with your family and friends, even if  you’re far from home. Another good thing about it is that each linked device connects to WhatsApp independently, calls and texts are end to end encrypted.

If you wish to try out this new feature, Here’s how to go about it.

1. Download and install the latest version of the WhatsApp application from the google play store. Once you install it, open the WhatsApp application and tap on the Agree and continue button.

2. Enter your phone number and tap the three dots in the top right corner, now tap on the link existing account option.

3. You will see  a WR code on your screen, open the WhatsApp application on your primary device and choose the three dots then linked device.

4. Tap on link a device option  on the next screen, now you can scan the WR code displayed on your secondary phone. Both your primary and secondary phones will now use the same WhatsApp account. Thanks for reading, if you have any contributions to make, use the comment section.
